Accurat is in the business of helping retail & publishers improve their media impact via real-world behaviour insights. Their platform allows for detailed segmentation of users and compares media impact with direct competitors.
Data is being gathered by an SDK that is embedded in clients mobile applications. The SDK (and end-user) generates many data-points during a typical day. All that data is fed into Accurat through a highly available API. It can handle thousands of concurrent connections and stores data or returns information about the connecting SDK client.
At the end of 2019 the API handled 10M+ requests per day, all well below 100ms. There are more than 300.000 active consumers. There has only been a minimal investment in infrastructure, so there is a lot of head room to scale, when business grows.
